THE BUILD, IN GOOD COMPANY
A thoughtful rollout
Solo LIVE + four seats
Host controls, audience comments and reactions, guest requests, approval, and room-level moderation.
More ways to join
Six, nine and twelve seats, audio rooms, and avatar mode—once the provider and limits are validated.
Battles, gifts, carefully
PK battles first; optional gifts only after payment rules and a provider are approved. Payouts stay review-only.
BUILT FOR PEOPLE, NOT JUST VIDEO
The guardrails behind the room
Choose the media layer
Evaluate LiveKit Cloud first; Agora and Amazon IVS remain alternatives. A WebRTC/SDK layer, room manager, real-time messaging, database, permissions and safety tools are also needed. Capacity, quotas, cost and FriendNest testing need review.
1 LiveKit Cloud first to evaluateKeep control server-side
Future room tokens must be short-lived and issued only after the signed-in user and room state are checked. Provider secrets stay off the browser.
No emails in provider room names or identities.Schema is a draft
Rooms, participants, comments, moderation, bans, battles, votes, gifts, wallet units and review-only payout requests are proposed—not applied.
Draft states: rooms scheduled/live/ended/cancelled; participants requested/invited/joined/left/removed; comments visible/hidden/removed; battles scheduled/active/completed/cancelled. Check `users.id` and MySQL version against a production backup first.Money stays out of this preview. Wallet ledger units are not cash or an exchange rate. No card or bank details belong in the draft. Gift, payout and webhook flows require review before any payment execution.
View proposed gift, wallet and payout states
Gift transactions: pending, settled, refunded or failed. Each transaction and wallet ledger leg needs an idempotency key. Wallet types are viewer_coins and creator_earnings_units; signed ledger units are not cash and define no exchange rate.
Payout requests: requested, under review, approved, paid, rejected or cancelled. This draft supports review records only; it does not authorize automatic transfers or collect bank/card details.
Provider events: retain only a verified provider event ID and payload hash, with received, processed or failed status—not raw webhook payloads. These are unapplied draft rules.
The public Live page currently states a 1,000-follower eligibility threshold and says production broadcasting is unavailable until a compliant streaming provider is connected.
